FREE TO PUBLIC — Family Education Group

Join us for our 12-week Family Education Group, where you’ll work with a licensed counselor and a Certified Peer Supporter to learn helpful strategies designed to support both you and your loved one who is experiencing addiction.

All are welcome at NO cost — your loved one does not need to be receiving care at CAT for you to join. Simply show up to our centrally-located campus to attend. Meetings take place at 834 Ezzard Charles Drive every Thursday @ 6 PM.

Our program now follows the CRAFT model, featuring curriculum that is proven to help attendees focus on their own well-being while learning how to encourage their loved one to get the help they need. You’ll discover practical ways to improve your happiness and daily life, while also finding effective strategies to support your loved one in seeking treatment!

In comparison to similar models, people who participate in CRAFT-based programs report an almost 30% higher rate of treatment entry for their loved one experiencing addiction. These families have also reported feeling closer and improvements to their mental and emotional health.*
