CAT Partners With Healthy Moms and Babes to Provide Free Healthcare Services and Resources Event to Community

CINCINNATI, April 8, 2025 – Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT) is excited to be partnering with Healthy Moms and Babes (HMB) to provide free, public health services and resources for women and infants on April 23rd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The public is invited to receive hygiene products, diapers, and medical healthcare at no-cost from registered nurses in the privacy of the HMB Outreach Van, which will be stationed at the center’s centrally located West End campus at 830 Ezzard Charles Drive.
This collaborative effort is designed to eliminate barriers by providing free, confidential services with no insurance or appointments required, ensuring women have access to essential care and support they may not otherwise be able to receive. Services available include, but are not limited to: women’s health education and screenings, pregnancy tests, prenatal and postpartum checkups, breastfeeding support, blood pressure and glucose testing, immunizations, and referrals for ongoing medical care and social services.
Attendees will also have access to free feminine hygiene products, as well as diapers provided by partner Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank for infants under the age of three (with age restriction exceptions available for children with developmental delays). To receive services and hygiene products, visitors only need to provide a copy of their ID (physical or printed out copy). To be eligible for diaper distribution, guardians must bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

That is why CAT could not be more excited to be partnering with Healthy Moms and Babes to support the women and mothers of our community,” shares CAT’s VP of Nursing, Maria Perdikakis, RN. “We look forward to working together beyond this collaboration as we continue our fifty-five-year commitment to accessible care for all who seek it.”
In addition to servicing the public, HMB will also be extending their resources and care to the women receiving Residential care within CAT’s facility, further cementing the center’s growing strides to enhance family-oriented support opportunities into their continuum of care. Other recent family-focused initiatives include the introduction of a free, public education group for those with a loved one experiencing addiction, as well as family counseling services guided by licensed clinicians.
