CAT Launches Enhancements to Inpatient Detox Service

Tuesday March 28, 2023

CINCINNATI, March 28, 2023 – Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT) announces the launch of Withdrawal Management service enhancements with the implementation of patient engagement and education programming.

CAT’s inpatient detoxification program will now offer clients increased recovery engagement opportunities through the March 2023 application of Withdrawal Management and Education courses. This expansion of the organization’s pre-existing detoxification service positions patients for recovery by preparing clients with the necessary resources and strategies for their transition into sobriety.

“These groups are intended to give patients the opportunity to discuss coping skills and other tips to help get them through these early stages of recovery, while also orienting them to the programming options we have available to them here at CAT,” shares our Director of Inpatient Clinical Services, Jacob Beuerlein, MA, LPCC-S.

The Withdrawal Management and Education courses, which are tailored to patients experiencing the early stages of recovery, are led by our qualified and compassionate staff who utilize their vast subject matter knowledgeability to translate material for clients. The combination of education curriculum, paired with vital recuperation time for mental and physical wellness during the transition into sobriety, ensures clients have the tools necessary to successfully enter into recovery from the disease of addiction.
