You know that feeling when you’re simply yourself, and completely at ease that way? That’s what Center for Addiction Treatment inspires.

We believe that recovery is about rediscovering who you are and finding a sense of peace, confidence, and genuine belonging. At CAT, we help people live in alignment with their true selves, their core values, beliefs, personalities, and inner sense of who they are, in a way that lets them shine.

One of those people is Tyler.

In the face of years of childhood abuse, a 14-year-old Tyler took his first Percocet in an attempt to numb the pain. What followed was a 16-year battle with addiction & mental health.

“My family had purchased two burial plots for me and my sister. They were grieving their still-living child,” said Tyler. “Then, I stumbled my way into the CAT House.”

Through CAT’s comprehensive care model and ‘never give up’ attitude, Tyler was given access to the life-saving recovery & mental health services he needed to heal. Now, he’s officially a member of our team, proudly supporting others the way our agency supported him.

“What I found at CAT was love, care, and passion,” he shares. “Today I give back to CAT, the place that did more than just save my life… They pieced me back together.”
