CAT gave me back my son and our lives
In addition to attending twelve-step meetings near my home, CAT’s family program helped me learn about Joe’s addiction and how I could begin to heal from the damage it had done to our family. I learned how to get help for myself, regardless of the state of Joe’s disease.
Joe has earned his CDCA certification (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) and is working as an addictions counselor at a local treatment center. He is involved in a steady relationship with an amazing woman and regularly attends 12-Step meetings to keep building on the foundation he learned during his time in treatment at CAT.
I am glad to hear Joe has continued to be visible at recovery events. I am deeply grateful for the start in recovery he received from CAT and his continued sobriety because of the connections he made there. He makes his Momma proud every day!
I regularly attend twelve-step meetings for support. CAT gave me my son back. I’ve learned how to trust God and take care of myself. It’s been an amazing journey and I’m so grateful CAT was here for the two of us.
