The Art of Recovery: Celebrating Recovery and Uplifting Community
Thursday August 21, 2025
CINCINNATI, August 21, 2025 – Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT) invites the community to The Art of Recovery
event on Thursday, September 25th, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC). This inspiring
evening celebrates the recovery journey while actively dismantling the stigma surrounding addiction through the
transformative power of art.
A curated collection of artwork—created by individuals impacted by recovery—will be featured and available for
bidding in a silent auction. Spanning from various mediums, the pieces reflect the depth, resilience, and creativity
within the recovery community. All proceeds directly support renovations to CAT’s client rooms and residential
building, enhancing the healing environment for those seeking treatment.
“Creative expression is an integral part of what keeps me sober and what drives me, and to be able to share with
the audience just how much I appreciate and [am] honored to showcase my work to them is beyond what I
imagine possible,” shares a CAT alum.
More than just an art show, The Art of Recovery embodies CAT’s powerful commitment to breaking stigma and
amplifying the voices of those in recovery. Through creativity and personal expression, the event shines a light on
the strength, resilience, and individuality within the recovery community.
Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, hear powerful stories from featured artists, and engage with CAT’s vital work to
support those on their journey of recovery.
